A specialised system linked to Solartron Metrology Orbit network digital probes and linear encoders displaying and recording measurements. It caters for up to 250 digital probes and/or linear encoders. Measurements are displayed on the screen in real-time mode using coloured columns which move with the probes and change colour when the measurements move through warning and tolerance limits.
Probe measurements can be combined using user-defined formulae to measure geometric features or max/min measurements. A probe positioning display enables probes to be positioned accurately within the fixture so that the probe measuring range is deployed correctly.
Designed for gauging fixture operation on Windows based computers with touch-screen operation. All measurements can be recorded and stored in disk files locally or on a network server. It includes R&R studies for gauging fixtures with automatic calculation of reproducibility and repeatability. Links to SPC software are available.
