With an appropriately configured server, asset details, inspection results and certificates can be viewed remotely over the internet.
We have a sample set of customer gauges calibrated by a laboratory with dates and results that can be viewed remotely. If you are running WINDOWS XP or VISTA then you can use our preset Remote Desktop Connection link to see how this works.
To view these sample certificates proceed as follows:
STEP 1: Right-click on this Link to display a pop-up menu which might be worded slightly differently depending upon your browser:
STEP 3: Save the file in a suitable location - we suggest 'MY DESKTOP'
STEP 4: Locate the saved link and double-click it to activate a Remote Desktop Connection to our server. A workstation log-in dialog will be displayed:
STEP 5: Type the User Name and Password which are identical and case-sensitive: 'A2Zuser'. Click OK to briefly display the certificate viewing program login:
STEP 6: The log-in is processed automatically (only for this example) and displays a list of sample gauges with details and results:
STEP 7: You can:
- Review all the assets/gauges with due dates
- Sort the tables by left-clicking a column-heading
- View a list of inspections/calibrations for each asset/gauge
- Review lists of assets and certificates
- Display a certificate using the relevant .PDF file where it exists
STEP 8: Click the CLOSE button to terminate the certificate viewing program, log out and disconnect automatically from our server.
Note that hardcopy printing is inhibited in this evaluation system and the remote connection is automatically terminated after 1 minute if no mouse/keyboard activity is detected. Please contact us if you have any questions concerning remote access to certificates.
